Whenever friends are in town they want to go here and it has always been great, but this last time will probably be the last time. They have changed the system and there is no more table service - now you order at a counter like any other fast food restaurant and they bring to the food to you. The "server" was great but the overall experience was a complete cluster! They tell you that everything you order comes out at the same time, so soup, main course and dessert all arrive together - in theory! My friends' food arrived before mine and they were almost finished when my sandwich arrived, which I then had to send back as it was the wrong sandwich. By the time it came, my friends had finished their food. Again the server was great and she took the sandwich off the bill as an apology The new system also is confusing with regards to tipping - as you are ordering at the counter, we did not know how much to tip the server as it does not merit the standard 20% we normally leave, as there isn't really any service. In this instance we did leave 20% as she was very helpful and apologetic. The staff don't seem too happy with the new system either as I am sure they are losing money are not tipping them. The food itself was great, but it is not a cheap restaurant so would rather spend the $$ somewhere else and receive some actual service. Not sure if coincidence but the restaurant used to be always really busy, but when we were there it was dead...Go back the old system please!
