This is definitely a dive bar, but in every positive sense of the expression. I met up with a friend there on a Sunday night (as we were looking for cheap drinks). It was kinda quiet when we got there but then picked up a little as a few more locals came in.
It's small but the outdoor space definitely made up for that. It was older (and from the outside it may look intimidating) but a clean place and the staff (bartender) was pleasant and welcoming. A good mix of ppl, definitely a local spot... loved it. As promised, there were good beers cheep .. even on tap.
