This Spa & Salon is one of the more unique ones that I have been to. The best part of this spa is that you can really enjoy it with your spouse. Often in spas you are separated for the whirlpools, steam rooms, saunas because they are separated by male & female.
The gym downstairs is huge and beautiful. I did not get to try it, but it's one of the largest gyms I've seen at a hotel.
The spa is on the 2nd floor. You check in on the same floor as the gym, and receive your itinerary. Then, you go up the elevator to the 2nd floor and split into the men's and women's locker rooms, where an attendant gives you a tour. You wait for your services in a co-ed lounge with drinks & snacks (water, tea, coffee, granola & dried fruit). There's also separate mens & womens lounges with TVs, more drinks & snacks, and magazines.
In the women's locker room you have a whirlpool, cold pool, and spa and sauna, showers, toiletries (including razors, hair ties, toothbrushes, mouth wash, hair brushes, tampons - basically everything). I'm sure the men's is similar minus the feminine products. They also offer you a locker for your valuables.
The co-ed areas include an outdoor private spa, which is beautiful. It was cold as heck the day we went so we didn't go in...but several people were in there. We did explore the hot stone lounge, which is a room with 6 large stone lounges where you lay down in a nice warm bed, with meditation music. There's also water in there. It's so relaxing and like nothing I've ever experienced. There's also a co-ed salt room. I didn't go in there but it sounds amazing, it is also meant for meditation.
My massage was with Serge, my husband was with April. We were both really really happy. The rooms are very large, with nice music, the beds move mechanically even to lift and bend your legs, and it was just really really comfortable.
I would definitely come here, especially if you are staying at the Aria.
