My husband and I spent 5 nights at this hotel and were completely satisfied with the experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and bright. The rooms are a little small, but not inconveniently so. The bed was pretty firm and the pillows were oddly small. Maybe you'd want to bring your own if you're really particular.
The bathroom was large and the water pressure in the shower was good. There was no microwave or fridge in our room, which was a bit annoying, but there was a coffee maker. I was able to convert currency at the front desk, which was pretty convenient. The free wifi was reliable and fast.
The parking situation is a bit frustrating--the hairpin turn was hard enough in our large sedan but would be nearly impossible in an SUV. The view from our room was nothing to write home about...unless you want to write home about parking garages.
The neighborhood puts you right next to a number of good restaurants (but beware some of the tourist-trappy ones, unless you're a tourist who wants to get trapped). I used the direct-line phone to the cab company nightly and always had one within 5 minutes. I also felt safe walking around the neighborhood after dark (granted, I wasn't alone, but it wasn't a sketchy place).
For the price I paid, it was nicer than I expected it to be. By a lot. Next time we go back to TO, I would be happy to stay here.
