System installed 2011. Has worked well with no servicing by the Kinetico people. I say this because they never checked in with me to ask about my satisfaction with the system. They have a problem with followup and communication. Once installed I never heard back from anyone from Kinetico. All of the replacement parts, ie filters etc, are proprietary and priced much higher than other systems charge.
I am satisfied with the system and I perform the maintenance myself. I can only imagine what a service call would cost.
Pros: Well designed system, functions as described.
Cons: Very expensive system compared to others available. Don't expect followup after the purchase.
Replacement parts expensive.
