Have been thinking of getting a sofa reupholstered for awhile. Researched them on line and they seemed kind of sketchy. Some of the great reviews had "assisted reviews" on them - whereas homeowner reviews gave them a 2-4/10
So I checked them out. Saw them at a mall. Made an appt. A sales rep, Brian. (16 years experience) came to see me the same day. Gave me a quote of $7338 for my antique couch!
That was totally unaffordable! So I told him I'm going to get a new couch instead. He then continue to slander the furniture company. Prices dropped to $2100 because a corporate contract was on hold so he has 20 spots to fill. So he's willing to give it to me for that price. But only if I give him a 50% deposit THAT night.
Wouldn't give me time to decide, even though I said I would call him right in the morning. Wanted to give a big chunk of money. And in between my explanation he stood up and started packing. Rude body language. Aggressive sales tactic and made a sexist comment.
I confronted him and he said he's an experienced salesperson of 16 years. So ive lost my chance to refurb with them -- he may give me a call a year from now to see if I'm still interested.
But why would I be interested in a company who hires rude aggressive sales person.
Also please do your research before Sig jong anything with them.
I also confronted them about their sketchy business reviews and "scammed". He claims its their jealous competitors or customers who didnt like their finished fabric. But that doesn't explain the news segment and all the ppl who have mentioned lawsuits against them.
