If it weren't for my instincts, I would not have known that St. Rose Hospital housed this Quest location. The good news is I scheduled my appointment online which made for quick service. The problem was my assigned Tech (older, blond/gray haired woman) was very curt with me. To make matters worse, during the cannulation process the needle felt fine upon insertion however, the needle hurt when it was REMOVED!!! Per my Nursing colleagues, pressure was applied to the site during the needle removal which creates a scraping effect. Afterwards I felt a burning/stinging sensation like no other. Days later I felt what seemed like nerve pain and eventual numbness. The Tech's practice is apparently outdated and avoidable. I will never return to this location.
