It turned out that they did not install an oil filter on my last oil change service and my car engine ran without a filter for about 5k miles. Their lack of honesty was the reason why I switched shops to get my car serviced. Luckily it turned out to be in my favor since I would probably never had found out about the missing oil filter had I continue servicing my car with them.
The lack of honesty comes from them recommending unnecessary services such as replacement of engine air filters, cabin filters and tires. The filters were less then 1k old when they suggested replacement. They said my car needed new tires and refused to do a included free rotation on my last oil change service. I've taken to 2 other shops and they all confirmed my tires were far from needing replacement. They also lack consistency on their pricing quotes.
Should any engine issue arise I'll definitely be coming after them.
