The outside grounds are stunningly beautiful. The cost of the rooms are way over priced; they are very outdated, the furniture is bare bones, is harshly warn, doesn't match, isn't comfortable, the shared washers and dryers are also from the 1900's, and there are A LOT of bugs throughout the hotel/condo/and pool area-mostly gigantic roaches....disgusting!
The positives are the pools is gorgeous and kept really clean and heated. The one restaurant (Sonrisa) that is family friendly is very good, and has great outdoor ambience-but also over-priced and poor service.
My biggest complaint is that I was unaware until I learned the hard way that the water that runs from the faucets in the rooms is NOT drinkable, it's brownish and tastes exactly like the color-the person I rented from does not have any filters, maybe each owner decides if they want to provide filtered water, but I would ask before you book a place here.
The Rocky Mountain Chocolate store is hardly ever open, and they serve mostly stale old nasty chocolate; I'm guessing b/c not many people come to Lake Las Vegas
