Finally after 8 years in business I find a reputable repair company for my gas equipment. These guys are knowledgeable, courteous, professional, prompt, affordable, technological... ok enough adjectives, these are your guys. I recently had a motor break on my convection oven. I called the first guy who came up in the google search, I won't mention names, the guy came and said I need a new motor and then he tried to charge me $850 just for the part. Well a simple google search showed that the motor only costs $425 brand new. I called him up and said what's up? He started stuttering, telling me he didn't know what the exact price was he was just estimating, etc.. I asked for a written invoice and he said "we've been in business for 45 years and we never do that. Go call someone else." I'll give you all a hint who this was: he has 3 different names under the same phone number. 2 of the names have no reviews. The 3rd one is all bad reviews. Hmmm, 45 years in business and he doesn't know what an oven motor might cost? LOL. Anyway, a few more google searches later I found Windy City. I found that they have good reviews here on Yelp. I called in and spoke with Corey. He was knowledgeable and calm, not trying to fast-talk me. I asked for a written invoice and he emailed it to me same day. The part was ordered and came in on time. The repairman was on time and did a great job. They charged me a fair price for the part which was the price I expected plus shipping. They actually finished the work under budget and my final bill was actually slightly less than the invoice quote. I highly recommend this company for your repair needs. They are not afraid to give a written invoice and they don't gouge you on the parts. They get the job done right and on time. What more can a business owner ask for? Thank you Windy City!
