While the chicken at Mochiko is good, everything else leaves something to be desired. After seeing the pictures, I was excited about the rice bowls and I definitely wanted to try some lychee lemonade. Unfortunately, my friend was totally right - it needs way more lemonade flavor. That being said, it had some nice lychee flavor. The sauce on the chicken was also quite tasty, but the rice itself was a little underdone. The biggest problem, however, was the "stir-fry" vegetables. They were soggy as heck, and let's face it - soggy vegetables are gross. In particular, I pulled out a large mushroom that was completely water-logged. It reminded me of a sponge. I like the idea of Mochiko, and the people are very nice, but it's got some room for improvement. I might go back just for the chicken meal, sans veggies.
