We use to love this park when our puppies were younger but we have stop going there because the other dog owners with smaller dogs do not know how to act when you have large puppies. Our puppies are pit bulls of course and they were liked there until the last time we were there, our choose to take them in to the back of the park where there were no other dogs there and it seems that everyone wanted to hang out by us. Not a problem at all but when you have too many dogs in one area and they start to playing and chasing each other things will happen. Well this happened to us and the pet owners just stand there and start making comments about how our dogs are chasing the smaller dog that was running around (just loving it) and that our puppies were getting predator like. Well they did not bother to stop all the other dogs from chasing this little dog and so because we had the pit bulls had to tackle our dogs and hold them until everyone else moved on to other parts of the doggie park. One of our dogs bit its own tongue and they did freak out at first because they thought our dog had bitten that little dog, once they realized that the blood was coming from our dog, then they started to make jokes. Not even 20 minutes after that my husband was throwing a ball for another dog and because he was not fast enough and the dog bit his hand and of course our dogs see this and go after this other dog, the owner of the dog, stood there and kept saying sorry for her dog biting my husband but would not pick her dog up or put the collar or leash on it. By the time I made it to the back my husband is holding both puppies while the lady did nothing. My course hit the buckle on our male and he did go running after that dog, lucky for them that I was right there in time to stop both dogs and grab my puppy and walk him away for the other dog. After that the lady did take her dog to another part of the park but did not put the collar or the leash on her dog but kept saying sorry when we were leaving the park. THIS IS NOT A PARK FOR PITBULLS.
