I went here last week to get my nails done for my college graduation. I chose this place because of a good Groupon deal they had on gel manicures, I had never been there before then. I thought that the establishment was beautifully decorated and the desk girl was polite. I met my nail tech whose name was also Michelle, she seemed pleasant. I already knew what colors I wanted, so the hard part was out of the way, lol. What was supposed to be a simple mani took almost 2 HOURS for her to do! I just wanted my nails to be mostly maroon and one nail gold- no designs. She spent an hour on filing and cleaning my nails before painting, and I had just had my nails done not too long ago, so they weren't in need of an hour-long clean up! I had planned on getting lunch afterward, but ended up so hungry in her chair I had to excuse myself for one of the free cookies they put out for guests. Lastly, she wasn't great for conversation. When she asked why I wanted the specific colors, I told her that I was graduating from college- and she had nothing else to say. She didn't use that information to ask me what I was getting my degree in, what my plans were, if I was having family come in town- she seemed to have no interest in hearing me talk. Michelle did, however, talk about her skin problems and how horrible they were, how she was struggling with creams and medicines. I didn't really know what to say- so I was polite, even though I was grossed out. While the location was great and most of the staff friendly, I will not be returning.
