When I saw this place under construction i thought: 'It's about time this side of the neighbourhood had a coffee house!'
We checked it out and was not disapointed. I ordered a Cafe Mocha and my mum ordered a coffee (they have daily blends to choose from). The cafe mocha was nice and rich made with almond milk (yay non milk options!) also, all hot beverages come with a complimentary double chocolate shortbread made in house.
We later ordered a hot chocolate and one of their 'summer specials': ontario peach puree (prepared in house) with thyme, mango and green tea.
Food - foccacia stuffed with saussage and scrabled egg and a bacon stuffed croissant. Both were full of flavor and delicious. A good on the go breakfast!
Nabbed a cinnamon cookie before I left and it was a nice snack- the type of cookie that was good with or without a hot beverage.
Very friendly staff- informative on their products and they would check to make sure you are enjoying your prepared beverage and food.
Definitely recomend this spot for morning pick me up or just a nice place to relax.
