"Welcome to Brick Works. The first rule of Brick Works is: you do not talk about Brick Works..." OK, so Brick Works isn't that underground, it's basically PG rated urban exploration. If you don't know, it's an abandoned series of gutted brick factories off the Don Valley that you're not *really* supposed to be in but is generally safe and super cool to explore. Never mind vagrents and criminals squatting, you will most likely run into: - Geeky film students - Photographers with half naked models(not me, I swear!) - Hyper-active 13 year olds playing tag - Cute little adventurous families - Bees (They're doing this urban bee farm in one of the buildings, watch out!) They're developing it into something useful and taking away it's gritty edge soon I think. This summer may be your last chance to check it out. Truly one of the coolest things in Toronto.
