I'd been here a few years ago and didn't really care for it. However, my hubby and I were invited to a party here the other night so we went back.
The first thing we both noticed was that they seemed a bit pricey for a Mexican place.
The menu was unimpressive.
While our busboy was quick and attentive our waiter was not. And it was not busy at the time.
Our food was just ok. Neither of us were thrilled with our meals. Hubby thinks the tamales at Trader Joe's are better!
Our waiter brought our check over and never even asked us if we wanted dessert.
We don't ever plan on returning to Dona Maria's, and we can't understand how they stay in business with so many other Mexican restaurants in town that are so much better.
