Yes I've been frustrated with Canadian Tire before too. BUT I've been very pleased with the service I've received from this location's Auto Service. I've been many times and they're always incredibly friendly and helpful.
Example: just this morning, I realized the lever that opens my fuel tank wasn't working. I came into the Canadian Tire and asked for someone to look at it. They suggested since it's a newish car, the warranty should still be in effect and I could get it done for free instead at the dealer's. Ah, but I was on my last fumes of gas and wouldn't make it all the way there. They suggested there was probably a manual way for them to pop open my fuel tank. So a mechanic came out and did just that, free of charge. Super helpful. And they've been like that every time I've gone in.
