My mother and I have this thing for White House Black Market, which is nice, because we sometimes fight over where to shop. She favors Cache, because she still likes jeans with rhinestones on them (although, she makes them look classy, not trashy), and I am still pretty straight and Gap-set. But WHBM suits both our styles.
The store has evolved from when they STRICTLY had black and white. Now they have cream and gray and denim. And you know what? It really doesn't bother me, and this is the type of thing that would.
I have gotten shoes, accessories, casual stuff, and very formal clothing at this location. Their help is OUTSTANDING. During a particularly bad shopping trip, as I searched for something to wear for my 21st, they fixed me up in something that was somehow flashy, classy, and comfortable. Amazing. This might be the one store that I actually LIKE talking to their sales people.
The store itself is a bit small, but is laid out very well.
