1. Authentic
2. Byob ($2 per beer/wine glass + $2 per shot glass if you bring sake)
3. Reasonably priced
4. Good service
5. Cant wait to go back
Be prepared for a wait, but its worth it. One of the stand-outs on the, less than impressive, Murray Ave.
I don't understand the fried chicken thing.... but i will admit - its good!
The teriyaki steak was not what I was expecting but then again - how do I know if I have ever really had an authentic teriyaki. The steak was broiled and came with a very thin steak-juice like sauce. I'm more accustomed to a thicker sauce which is more prominent in the overall dish. Not a deal breaker by any means.
Best no-frills sushi I have had here. It should not disappoint.
