It's a modern symphony house. The venue accommodates over 2,600 patrons. But I don't see it being disabled-friendly, as the seating would be limited to orchestra section. There is coat check. There are bar stands. There is even a cd music sales section - who buys cd's anymore? The times I've attended TSO performances have also coincided with some rather uncivilized behavior! I've witnessed a young man talk back to an elderly lady, raising his voice as he indignantly proclaimed he was not going to give up his enjoyment of music for her sake. I was aghast! Was a fight going to break out? Did not know Gershwin could elicit such violent tendencies! I've also stood in a long line at the bar, only to have the couple behind me jump the queue to be served first! That puzzled me. Is my singlehood suddenly invisible? I wish my single money was also invisible! You come for the performance, you return for the patron's shenanigans.
