Super fun atmosphere at Essen Haus! Came here 5 years ago and got tricked into playing the 'Das Boot' game... trust me, proceed with caution! Then this weekend, I was back in town visiting so my friend took me back here.... this time for actual food and a couple of normal sized beers. Really enjoyed the cheese curds and Weinerschnitzel...huge portions and very tender and tasty. Our server was very friendly and the atmosphere was very fun. My only complaint is that I really wanted to buy an Essen Haus T-shirt to bring back to Atlanta, but they were out of my size in the version I wanted.... oh well, maybe next time.
