After casually shopping for furniture for about 6 months (watching sales flyers, dropping by showrooms, etc). Memorial Day weekend we saw AFG on our way home from the gym and stopped in to see what they had.
Gary met us as we walked into the showroom and asked if he could help us find anything. We told him what we were looking for and that we would just like to browse. He told us where the items we wanted to look at were located and sent us on our way. We found something that caught our eye, sat down, tried all the pieces and liked the feel. It was sturdy, comfy and looked well-made. Huge plus was that it was of a color and fabric we liked so we didn't have to "imagine" it with swatches.
Gary came by to see if we had questions. We asked about specials, warranties, configuration options (we wanted a large sectional), etc. Gary answered all our questions thoughtfully and knowledgeably, without being pushy.
We got an estimate on what we wanted as well as finance options, and told Gary we wanted to go eat lunch and talk it over.
We went to Living Spaces and American Furniture Warehouse and didn't find anything close to what we chose at AFG and what we did find was higher priced and didn't have the extras we were looking for. We did some online searching and found this to be the best deal for what we were getting. We chose not to take advantage of the in store financing as we would save more money buying it outright. Again, no pushy tactics.
We ordered and were told it could be here as early as the end of the week, but given the next day was a holiday, we didn't expect it. That was 6 days ago, and we are sitting on our new furniture!!!!
From Gary, to delivery scheduling to delivery drivers (who didn't bat an eye when we had to switch configuration halfway through set up) we have no complaints. Right fabric, right color, right pieces, no damage, no delays. We are more than satisfied.
