First off, the exterior decor/signage of this place needs to be improved. The exterior was totally bare and only had a black decal saying "The Shameful Tiki Room". You wouldn't have known it was a restaurant/bar either because you can't see inside at all from the outside. An ordinary person would think this was some shady/dodgy club or brothel. Just saying.. Once inside, it was clear this place was going for a particular theme/mood (Easter Island/Hawaii theme). It was pretty dark inside and the decor was interesting. I came here for dinner and drinks with a friend. I got some blue cocktail (Blue Hawaii) which was pretty good and at $11 reasonably priced (imo). Also got an assortment of appetizers which were delicious but rather overpriced ($15). For mains, I got a beef rib which tasted great but the exterior was just a bit on the dry/burnt side. It was $12, which I found to be reasonable. Service was fine and the waiter gave some helpful suggestions on what to order. Overall, I'd recommend this place for its drinks only. The food menu is rather limited in terms of mains, and the appetizers are overpriced. However, ambience is unique which makes for a good experience.
