In a city dominated by corporate chain restaurants and celebrity-starred restaurants, restaurants like Lobster Me are a dying breed. With no Gordon Ramsay or Joel Robuchon advertising for it, its only star is... The Lobster! Lobster Me's entire menu revolved around the wonderful crustacean that is the Lobster. Spanning from the original Lobster Rolls to the Lobster Banh Me Sandwich to the Lobster Mac & Cheese, you can't avoid the main star of the restaurant. My friend and I found Lobster Me after coming tru the parking garage @ Planet Hollywood. Being the Lobster lover I am, I begged my friend to try Lobster Me as well. I ordered the Lobster Mac & Cheese with the french fries (covered with lobster seasoning powder) and a fresh lemonade. My buddy tried the Lobsicle (a stick of grilled lobster meat) with the homemade potato chips. There was plenty of lobster in my Mac & Cheese. Even though the mac & cheese wasn't one of those gourmet mac & cheeses you would usually expect at a high end restaurant, it gets the job done. I loved it, even though I would probably not get the fries in the future because it wasn't that good. My buddy raved about the Lobsicle, deeming it a masterpiece and the lobster flesh succulent. Service was good. The employees consistently came around our tables to ask if we needed anything and offered us refills on our sodas. (no refills on that delicious lemonade). The only negative thing I could say about Lobster Me are the high prices of their food fare, considering it's "fast food". A meal per guest will come out to average almost $20 for lobster entree + drink + fries/chips. You could definitely spend more money at a worse place ( I am talking to you, Serependity 3). But hey, leasing a place inside the Miracle Mile Shops doesn't come cheap!
