We stayed here with the kids after we left the hell-hole called Circus Circus and the rooms were really nicely renovated and reasonably priced, it was like night and day!
We ate at the buffet and it was okay.
The pirate show was cancelled so the kids were disappointed.
They did enjoy the gift shop with lots of pirate toys! Hotel is great to stay at but I know they do have a disclaimer for the pirate show, and like other parents, I thought, it can't be that bad! I was wrong!
So fast-forward a few months later and we finally get down to see the show.
Seriously?
It's like the Pussy Cat Dolls! A bunch of raunchy maidens dancing around half naked, this show is not for kids!
To make matters worse, we were there on a Saturday night for the 7 p.m. show and on our way out to see the show we ran into so many drunk idiots in the lobby near the valet. Lots of scum bags and scum bagettes. I guess because there's a honky tonk located near the entrance so all the hillbilly's staggered out of there after a binge day of drinking Coors Light! Security!
With that being said, we left early before the show ended. Plus the fireballs during the show are enough to light your hair on fire, good thing I stopped using Aqua Net!
