I have stopped at this Seven Eleven twice while Mount Charleston bound. When I drive towards Mount Charleston from Henderson I use the 215 to Durango to US 95 way. The problem that I run into is that when I want to fuel up on gasoline for my car and a beverage for me, frequently the Durango Drive Arco and Mobil is packed. Ditto for the Elkhorn Drive Shell. The solution to this problem has been to drive out of my way to the Cimarron at Farm 7-Eleven where I have had no problem finding an available pump. This business listing might as well be 7-Eleven /U.S. Post Office /Domino's Pizza/Sinclair. This is the first 7-Eleven that I know of that is attached to a Domino's Pizza. When I visit this 7-Eleven I go for the Big Gulp and spring water. This is the perfect spot to grab a beverage before the drive up to Mount Charleston. It is close enough to the trails where the soda will not go flat and warm. This location has yet to jump on the Coke Freestyle machine train. With the exception of some graffiti carved into the fuel pumps, this is a clean 7-Eleven. This is also a spacious 7-Eleven where it is easy to maneuver around the gas pumps. The only problem that I have had fueling up here is that the fuel pump fails to start causing me to saunter inside to have the clerk reset the pump. Although this 7-Eleven is so near a slice of Heaven named Mount Charleston, I don't thank Heaven for 7-Eleven. When I am hiking in this slice of Heaven I appreciate the fuel I purchased from 7-Eleven that got me up the mountain and the water that I purchased from 7-Eleven that is rehydrating.
