This review is only for the Bingo Room's special Ladies Night. They opened up a new bingo room around Thanksgiving of last year. Great decor, smaller capacity than the old room. 2 1/2 months later they are still having issues with the bingo program and equipment. On occasion the start of the session has been delayed almost by a half hour. There are also numerous delays during the games. They have experimented with Extreme Bingo, machine only, DJ, modern music, neon bracelets, specialty drinks, and giveaways. Ladies Nights in Febrary usually have a major prize like Coach bags, gift certificates from Massage Envy and smaller giveaways during the evening again with a DJ, specialty drinks, nightclub style lighting. On this particular night the DJ, Kirk (Johnson?), hosted the bingo. For the giveaways he would ask the crowd for random items, first one to get his attention. Attendance is sparse so there aren't a lot of people to watch. If you're not young and cute, forget about getting his attention. He has honed his attention into a tunnel vision persona and is not generally observant of the whole room. It was not a fun experience. I wouldn't recommend it for a good social atmosphere. The lighting is too dark to really see anything or anybody and the music is too loud for conversation. It's all on the machine so no daubing or careful attention is needed to play as numbers are not verbally called. The games themselves are rather long and patterns complex. The DJ doesn't keep up a patter that is entertaining enough to fill the long interim. The attendance is lacking so it's rather boring and you feel like you made a mistake in entertainment choice.
