I just came back from Massage Matters and it's a great place.
Let's start with their fantastic Intro offer: A 1-hour RMT massage for 45 bucks. Can't beat that. You also get a complimentary add on (hot stone, cold towel-face, peppermint foot) and aromatherapy.
Building is gorgeous. Lots of old brick, nicely decorated, lots of space. Staff were very friendly. Great downtown location at Adelaide and Jarvis. You can also easily book online.
My RMT was very friendly, always asked if everything was okay/pressure/heat, etc. Got a little chocolate too :) Good pressure, attentive to the spots I need work on.
What really intrigues me about this place is their membership. You can sign up for 12 massages (1/mo) for a discounted price. They also have chiropractic memberships as well. Although I may not take advantage of the membership seeing as my benefits don't cover massage and I can't justify one massage a month, I would go back here again. If only they did a massage/2-month membership - I'd be all over that!
