Don't trust this place! After returning 3 months later to remove my items, my key wouldn't even go onto the lock.
The attendant (who claimed he was a substitute), tried it too. He supposedly called his manager that was in a conference in Arizona and wouldn't be back until 2 days later. He suggested we call a locksmith to cut it with a bolt cutter. Also said unfortunately, we'd have to buy another lock after that. I reminded him that it's not our fault.
When the locksmith arrived, he said a bolt cutter could not cut that metal. He drilled into the lock and charged us $150. Someone had gone through the unit and stole a refrigerator, tv, printer, handheld vac and a cart. That's all we noticed so far. They also opened up one of the bins but I guess because it looked like clothing, didn't look through the rest of the bins.
This place is a scam! How could someone break into the unit, take whatever they wanted and put a different lock on it? Makes me wonder if they actually have spare keys to the locks that we have to buy from them.
While I was there, a woman also went to the office because her lock was missing. How does that happen?
They have the perfect crime ring going on here. How often do we go to our storage units.
Also the insurance is a laugh. You need receipts for everything!
The perfect CRIME RING!
