Love this place. I will agree with other users that in the past, this place just dripped with elitism. Though the coffee was delicious, I rarely went here because the barista was just intolerable. Not a good environment at all.
HOWEVER, in the last year this place has really shaped up. The staff there now is really friendly, very helpful. I always feel welcome to stay and drink my latte, or take it for the road. No disdain for a take away cup or a newspaper or book. Beverages are reasonably priced, around the same as your average starbucks, etc. I havent had any of the baked goods but they look delicious and seem to be sold out by the evening (that's a good sign right?)
If you've heard about the bad attitude, or experienced it in the past, give this place another try. I haven't seen any of that in months, makes this place deserving of five stars.
