I tried Kuma off of the recommendations of friends that frequent Chinatown more than I do. Prior to my visit, I was a fan of SnowFlake Shavery because of the consistency of their product. The first time having Kuma I didn't put any condensed milk so it tasted more shaved ice textured than ice cream. That was my mistake. I may change up the toppings every time I go, but now I always remember the condensed milk because it seals this sweet deal for me. Kuma is now at the top of my list. The topping selection at Kuma far outweighs that of their competitors. The service is always great and the toppings are abundant and generously added. My bf and I crave Kuma anytime we're in Chinatown, which is quite often. Kuma has a loyalty card that you buy 10 and get the 11th free in the Sumo(large) size. You can't go wrong with that. SnowFlake has a loyalty card but the freebie is their small size. Kuma is where it's at. I have two favorites! First, I like the strawberry snow cream, strawberries, almonds, popping pearls, and sweet condensed milk. Second, I like Cookie Butter snow cream, Oreos, almonds, cheesecake bites, and sweet condensed milk. Mmmmmm!
