I only stayed at the Courtyard Charlotte Airport for one night, but I thought it was a nice hotel. The room was modern, big and had clearly been painted recently because there was a faint smell of fresh paint. The bathroom could have used a little renovation, but really nothing to complain about. The lobby area was also spacious with lots of seating and places to work. The free wifi also worked really well! For some reason I thought this hotel was kind of far from the airport, but I took a detour to get BBQ (I know, oink oink) so I might be confused. I think this hotel deserves much better than the 2.5 star rating it currently has.
