5/2/2016 We ate at the Rampart Buffet on Seafood Night (Friday) and there was a long line an hour before the buffet opened. We were finally seated and our drink order was taken immediately. There was a long line at the Crab Legs and with as many people waiting, you'd think they would have two serving stations. We actually ate off our plate while standing in line to get some crab legs (something I've never done before, but I was hungry). The deep fried shrimp hit the spot while waiting. I read where the crab legs on ice had more flavor and tried them on the second helping and they were and were easier to break open. There soon became a line at the iced crab legs. Some of the crab was overcooked and rubbery. I enjoyed everything anyway, as If the long lines and wait had made me hungrier. The deserts were excellent and I sampled a variety of dishes and was impressed. The wait staff removed our dirty dishes and kept our drinks refilled. I enjoyed eating at the Rampart Buffet but wish there was a remedy for the wait to get in and the wait once in, to get the food.
