AMAZING doughnuts, wonderfully fresh and great texture. The standard variety are wonderful, but the cake doughnuts are really were it's at. Our favorites were the vanilla bourbon and lemon curd. They also had an amazing "chef's creation", a strawberry shortcake cake doughnut, which completely blew me away. I am weeping diabetic tears to know that it's not part of the usual lineup. Their s'mores doughnut was a little overwhelmingly sweet, and the valrhona chocolate was all right, but too dark for us. We also got the seasonal favorite jelly doughnut, but it wasn't that great since the jelly was fairly ordinary jam. We also made the mistake of ordering drinks, and got two tiny cups of dairyland milk for $2.25 each. Next time we'll pick up a 1L carton at the london drugs down the street I think. I do agree with the other reviewers, the service was a little haphazard, but it sounds like the place has been open for a couple of months...? We're planning to go back on wednesday to try their vanilla cake doughnut and the bizarre maple bacon. Magnifique.
