Green Planet did a "move-in" deep cleaning of a house we recently purchased. I had two issues that would prevent me from recommending this service to someone else. First, the estimate given was not very accurate. An estimated cleaning time of 6 hours (2 cleaners x 3 hrs) was given for a 4 bedroom/2 bath 2100sf house. It ended up taking 9 hours, resulting in an additional $140. Yes, the house was dirty. But 3 hours off?! The house was completely empty. Didn't have them touch the garage or basement. When I came back after 3 hours expecting them to be done almost everything was complete. Then it just dragged on and on. I asked how much longer and they said 30 min. Ok. I left and came back 40 min later and still had to wait almost another 40 minutes. The second problem was that there were a couple areas that were completely missed. Visible cob webs along the ceiling in several rooms. Interior surfaces of kitchen cabinets not touched. Both of these tasks were outlined to be done (and checked off on their list). When pointed out the cleaners finished the job. David, the owner, looked into the matter and reduced the hourly rate by $2. I appreciate him reducing the cost by $18 but felt this fell a little short when the total was $140 more than anticipated.
