Swung by Daddy O Doughnuts after work today to grab a couple vegan doughnuts for myself and my co-worker. I had called Daddy O around 5 pm to confirm that they still had some vegan doughnuts left and the very nice lady told me yes, quite an assortment (thanks for listing off the flavours that were available!) but said to come as soon as I could because they sell fast. And boy, she was NOT wrong.
When we arrived half an hour later (they close at 6 pm on Saturday by the way!), there were LITERALLY 5 DOUGHNUTS LEFT .... thankfully vegan! We managed to score the last 2 carrot cake doughnuts. The flavour was AWESOME, so sweet! I like a denser doughnut and this is definitely it. I'm not usually a huge fan of carrot cake either but this doughnut was sweet, dense, fluffy, creamy and oh so good in every other way.
I know now that I need to go early (maybe when they open!) so that I'm able to get some more flavours! It was a great doughnut, and I can't wait to explore the other vegan options they have.
Definitely going back!
