I love to come here when the weather is nice. So far, we have rented a canoe twice, hiked and had a small picnic. There is a small parking fee, $4.00, I think. The park is never too crowded; it is definitely used but not overwhelming on pretty days. The guys that run the canoe rental are really nice. (You pay a deposit and if you flip the canoe, you lose your deposit.) There are two beach areas that I cannot wait to try out this summer, but I anticipate those areas being a bit busier.
