I've never done a wine tasting adventure before, and this was an incredible way to start my wine tasting endeavors.
You might pass it as you are driving down the street that it's on because it's hidden, so slow down as your GPS is telling you that you are near. You walk in and bam! There's the bar and the bartender (winetender? not sure :) ). You are given the option to do two different styles of samplers. As you are trying the wines, you are described what kind of wine it is and how it gets its specific flavors. As you go through the wines, you are introduced to crackers and cheese that help enhance the flavors.
After we finished the wine tasting, we decided to buy our favorite bottle that we had tried and went downstairs to this amazingly designed basement area (check out my pics of it! It's awesome). They have live music in the evenings every so often and there is a lot of space to stand or sit. We really wish we were staying a bit longer in Pittsburgh to attend one of their Jazz nice. Awesome winery with really tasty wine!
