I'm very mixed about Hobby Lobby. There are some things I like about it, some things I really dislike, and nothing that I love. Like: - They have a wider selection than other local craft stores. - They finally have a coupon on their website/app that you can use usually. - They put out their Christmas stuff in August, and I'm such a Christmas loving sicko that I smile when walking through those aisles even though it's in the 90s outside. Dislike: - Jesus, there is a ton of Jesus stuff all over the place. I think there is more Jesus stuff in here then at your local Christian bookstore. - Never have any associates on the sales floor to help you in finding something or to answer questions about your crafting. - Some of the stuff I've bought here has been poor quality and needed returning. I've now started opening bottles to check things to save myself from another trip. - closed on Sundays thanks to the above mentioned religious reasons. I like to craft on the weekends, so that can be annoying. Big tip for anyone shopping there: never pay full price for anything. If it's not on sale this week, it will be next week. Their sales rotate on schedule. They also tend to have a 40% of any one regularly priced item coupon on their website or app.
