Awesome experience at this shop! I wanted to grab some cigars for Father's Day gifts; problem being, I literally know nothing about cigars. Ever since my 19 year old self tried to be cool & puff on a Black and Mild at a party, which resulted in becoming embarrassingly sick, I've steered clear of anything of the sort. Walked in, was greeted by a very nice man working the counter. Let my guard down long enough to explain that I have no idea as to what I'm doing, which I'm sure he sensed. Then we got to work. First question he asked was, "How much are you looking to spend on each cigar?" - Thank God, because I didn't want to look like even more of an idiot if he had handed me things that were way out of what I was looking to spend. I let him know and he then grabbed 3 cigars which were exactly at my price point, and assured me that they were a shoo-in and a quality product. He also set me up with bags and little humidity control packets, to prevent the cigars from drying out. Hallelujah, because I'm not sure if any of the recipients own a humidor, and that was a concern. I paid, then I left. I think I spent 3 minutes from the time I walked in, to the time I walked out. During that time, a regular chimed in to inform me that I was in good hands, and the man who was helping me "Knows his stuff!" Afterwards I hopped on google to read reviews of what I bought, and was reassured that they are somewhat of an "Old Faithful" in the cigar world. I guess I don't know what makes a great cigar shop, but the customer service I received is deserving of 5 stars. I'll be back, should I ever need any more guidance when selecting some tobacco products.
