Okay, let me start by saying that if you're looking for an upscale salon with a snotty front desk girl named Tiffany who treats you like a peasant, then this isn't the place for you. Speaking of front desk girls, the one at this place is sweet, even her voice is soothing. We literally called five times the day of our (my sister went with me) appointments to ask ridiculous questions prompted by the weird reviews this place received. She deserves five stars for dealing with that and having the voice of a jazz DJ. Our therapists were running ten minutes late, that was ok, I got to spent more time with their comfy couch and fuzzy slip cover that I couldn't stop touching. So the rooms are small, I'm not sure why that would matter to anyone, you're not taking up residence in the place. The therapists don't speak English very well but they understand what you need, what else could you want? Im not there to make friends or small talk with a stranger that's covering me in oil. Oh the eucalyptus oil, pay the five bucks extra and get that stuff because it is heavenly. We both asked for deep tissue massages and we got exactly what we asked for. It hurts so good. Daniel really put his body into it, making sure I was ok with the pressure the entire time. I have huge knots in my upper back, shoulder region that my boyfriend lovingly calls "chicken tenders", they are just that big. I've had them for literally ten years, I even had them checked to see if I had a cyst or something because I wasn't sure knots should be that size. Anyway, I haven't had a proper massage in years so they were there in their full knotty glory. This guy got them down to chicken nuggets, I cannot remember the last time they were so small. Im confident that after a couple more appointments at this place, they will be close to being gone. I was tenderized like a bad cut of meat and I felt like a filet when I left. I'm a little sore today but that's to be expected with such a rigorous massage. I will definitely be coming back every other week.
