Yes, you pay a dollar but hey how fast does a dollar disappear in Vegas? there was a nice variety of fake jewelry, much cheaper than in other places in Vegas. Oh, and they had the real stuff too.

While I was surprised at the number of empty stalls, it was still worth my dollar admission that you can trade in for a discount at various booths.
Again, a nice break from the hot Vegas days.
