I am a stickler for a good cupcake. I mean, who isn't!?!?! After hearing super duper mixed reviews on The Cupcakery, I made the decision to give it a chance. The store seems, eclectic. Not my taste, but the way a place looks really isn't the end all be all. Honestly, I have eaten food out of places that looked like they closed down months ago so I don't judge. I tried the cupcake that was some version of salted caramel. The cake was okay. Not sure if it was caramel or butterscotch on it. That wasn't bad. The problem was that when I bit into the whole thing, all I tasted was salt. Whoever made the cupcake put about 10 times too much salt and I had to spit it out and only eat the cake part. I plan on giving them another chance at some point, but you guys, come on. Covering a cupcake in salt. No. Just no. BOOOOOOO!!!
