When we started interviewing contractors for bids to remodel our backyard we spoke to three contractors in the Las Vegas Valley (two of them were Desert Springs and Poolscapes). A friend used Sunny Landscaping and we were amazed at the quality of the work they had done, so we had him come out for a bid. After not feeling like Helio was constantly trying to upsell us, we decided to hire him for the job.
Helio and his crew were AMAZING. They tore out our existing concrete in the back yard and replaced it with beautiful pavers. I was worried that the concrete around the pool deck wouldn't turn out very good or that the existing pool tile would be broken during demo, but the crew did a beautiful job on the paver coping around the pool only breaking two pool tiles and replacing them before I could complain. The entire experience, from demo to finish was phenomenal. The crew was courteous, helpful, professional, and didn't have a problem redoing or changing work per our requests. Helio was very professional and patient when we couldn't make up our mind on the details (something not a lot of contractors are capable of). I can't wait to tear out the concrete in the front yard and replace it with pavers, using Helio and his crew again. Oh and the pricing was great without sacrificing quality. The attention to detail is beautiful. I'm now in love with my backyard.
Summary of work performed: Tear out existing concrete around pool, replace with pavers, remove/repair dead trees, move palm trees, add privacy trees, replace sprinklers, add landscape lighting, run speaker cable, replace faux grass, remove old landscape rocks, add fire pit, add Windsor wall, and add tree ring.
