I lived here for 5+ months between a house selling/buying transition. My experience was positive--the location was great (in Ahwatukee, close but not too to the highway, close to stores, next to the greenbelt), onsite staff were friendly and responsive, and neighbors were friendly and helpful. Some of my neighbors were not happy with the ownership change and increases in the rent, and thus they moved out or were planning to move out; I didn't experience those frustrations myself because I moved in after the ownership change and didn't live there long enough to see any changes over time. I do say it is an old apartment complex, and overpriced just like any other properties in Ahwatukee. You can get a unit that is much bigger, nicer, and/or with more up-to-date applies and amenities in other areas of the east valley. Also, this is an apartment, not a house, so some adjustments in the expectations (about distance from neighbours, lack of private yards, storage space, etc.) are needed if one is moving from the house. So I would recommend this place if you are tied to Ahwatukee (which IS a lovely place), but encourage you to look around if you are not.
