This is my 2nd trip to Hearthstone. The first time the dysfunction at the hostess stand was way too much to endure so I left and had a hot dog by the sports book. The dysfunction sadly still remains. The restaurant wasn't full; plenty of tables, but even with a reservation we waited for 10 minutes. I have to say training the front of the house staff can be beneficial. We were assigned two servers; kind of odd, but okay. The appetizer or small plate of jalapeƱo hummus was good; not too hot. Our dinners; the rotisserie chicken and DOC Flatbread were average at best. The rotisserie potatoes were delicious. Our dessert was the apple tart. It was very good. Tye servers are trying very hard, which is always appreciated. The noise level is deafening, couldn't hear anything our server suggested. We will give them another chance down the road, but with the many new choices at downtown summerlin it may be a while.
