This is the single worst medical office experience I have ever had. First off, Patricia Faust spent 10 minutes with me and then went on to bill me for an "extended" office visit. I was coming to her for a physical. The standard of care for a physical is that the practitioner orders your yearly labs at that time- CBC, CMP, fasting blood sugar, lipid panel, etc. When I asked her to order my labs she said, "Well, come back for a well woman visit next week and I can order them, then." This set off a huge red flag for me, because I felt she was trying to get me to another office visit, so she could bill me again. Hence, I never came back. The other ongoing issue I am STILL having to deal with is the GeneSight buccal test she administered to me. She said it would provide some genetic information that would be helpful in determining the most effective prescriptions for my system. She assured me that if the insurance didn't cover it, she would only bill me $20. I saw in an insurance statement from BCBS, that she billed this test at $6000!!!!! I am continuing to get bills for it and Assurex Health is trying to get me to set up a payment plan! I am very frustrated and extremely disappointed in this health care provider.
