Usually, when I order a thai dish, the dish is loaded with baby corn, miniature slabs of bamboo, and other processed vegetables that are definitely not home grown in the Pittsburgh area. Sure, the thai dishes here are not like in Thailand, but at least they make an attempt in using fresher ingredients. For example, a fresh Jalapeno pepper, instead of a dried mix.
