I have issues rating movie theaters. Here's why. For instance, I like the price point of AMC Town Square. Considering the location, they're very reasonable. Whether regular tickets, REAL 3D, or IMAX. $15 for an IMAX (non matinee) ticket isnt bad at all. The seats are good, but not great. AMC has leather seats that are assigned in the IMAX theaters. Other places have reclining seats with better options to place your food and drinks. But then the IMAX ticket is $22. See my dilemma when I could use that extra $14 for snacks? Sign up for AMC stubs, $5 tickets every Tuesday. Sometimes I get little emails too saying if I buy a popcorn I get a free soda. Am I the only one that HATES sneaking sodas into the movie theater. Its just weird buying a tub of popcorn and NO drink LMAO. There's 18 theaters at AMC Town Square, and usually whatever I want to see is at that theater. Get there early if you want snacks, because there's only one snack bar. For 18 theaters. That line gets long fast. Also, I'd recommend buying tickets in advance if you're doing a movie on a premiere night. Or in IMAX. Overall, AMC is my favorite theater in Las Vegas because the seats aren't falling apart, the prices are fair, and I love the perks of my AMC Stubs membership.
