I've been wanting to see this show for awhile ever since it was at The Quad/Imperial Palace so I did set my standards pretty high. Also I'm from Michigan so I am very familiar with Motown, and Boyz II Men @ The Mirage dedicates a portion of their show to Motown as well. That being said it was a good show, however it did not knock my socks off. The group was well dressed and in-tune with a great band, but the way they went about singing a few of the songs was not to my liking. Perhaps this is because they don't want to copy and sound like Smokey Robinson or other Motown groups (which is what Jersey Boys does with the 4 Seasons) so I respect that. The highlight of the show was whenever they sang acapella, as they have a wonderful harmony. It's a small show room meaning you can't really have a bad seat, but it does make the acoustics sort of stuffy. At the end the group does sprint out to the lobby to sign autographs and if you Check-In using Yelp! you can recieve a program for free.
